PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storage container enabling a person to acknowledge its seal opened state in an easy manner, facilitating a seal opening method, making a seal opening work easy and reducing its manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This box-like article storage container comprises a first to fourth side walls, bottom wall cooperatively connected to at least one of the first side wall to fourth side walls and top wall cooperatively connected to an upper end side of the first side wall, and the opening part of the container spaced and defined by the upper end sides of the first to fourth side walls is closed by the top wall. The upper end side of the second side wall is formed with a slit extending along the upper end side, the side engaged with the second side wall of the top wall is formed with an engagement piece that is inserted from the slit into the container and can be engaged with it. The top wall is provided with a plurality of perforation lines for dividing the top wall into a plurality of segments and the end portions of the perforation lines are arranged near at least two sides of the four sides of the top wall.
