A hose cutting apparatus is provided to permit cut portions of a hose to be promptly solidified and prevent cut portions from being frayed, by permitting a hose wound onto a rotary body to be tensely and continuously supplied to a cutter and permitting a heated cutter to cut the supplied hose in a melting system. A hose cutting apparatus(1) comprises a frame(2) having a table shape, a cutter(3), a hose supply unit(5), and a controller(6). The cutter moves in a vertical direction by the operation of an elevation unit(4) mounted on the frame, and cuts a hose(H) by heat generated when power is supplied. The hose supply unit repeatedly supplies the hose wound onto a rotary body to the cutter by constant pitches and stops supply of the hose so that the cutter cuts the hose into a predetermined size when the cutter moves in a downward direction. The controller controls pitches of the hose supplied from the rotary body to the cutter, and permits the elevation unit to move in a downward direction so that the cutter cuts the supplied hose. |
