<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard system which is capable of removing user's displeasure caused by a wait time from power-on to the completion of start. <P>SOLUTION: The onboard system includes an onboard terminal 1 mounted on a vehicle and an information server 30 which is connected to the onboard terminal via an information communication network and is capable of distributing information requested by the user operating the onboard terminal 1, to the onboard terminal. The onboard terminal 1 includes an information selection means 6 for selecting information which the user desires, a communication means 9 for receiving selected information selected by the information selection means from an information server, a storage means 5 wherein the selected information received by the communication means is stored before the start of the onboard terminal, a control means which detects a start state of the onboard terminal and causes selected information stored in the storage means to be read out based on the detection result, and a presenting means 7 for presenting the selected information read out by the control means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
