PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synchronize imaging frames of a plurality of imaging apparatuses. SOLUTION: A timing signal generator 25 generates a timing signal that designates the timing of reading a video frame on the basis of a synchronization reference signal. A system controller 27 determines a reset phase indicating a pixel position and a line position in the video frame on the basis of a frame ratio supplied from a controller 10 and of a frame sequence number. An imaging timing signal generator 26 generates an imaging timing signal when are coincident with each other the pixel position and line position indicated by the reset phase, and the pixel position and line position in the video frame indicated by a timing signal. An imaging part 21 starts imaging for every one imaging frame according to the imaging timing signal. It is therefore possible to synchronize imaging frames of the plurality of the imaging apparatuses by adjusting a head position of the imaging frame to a predetermined position of the video frame in synchronism with the synchronization reference signal.
