PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly determine a sorting destination and eliminate the need of manually putting articles into an automatic sorting line. SOLUTION: A manual sorting line 18 is disposed to an upper part of an automatic sorting line 20, and a measure 12 is disposed to a main conveyer 8 to determine the destination according to the size and weight of the article 22. According to the determined destination, a distributing conveyer 16 oscillating in a vertical plane puts the article 22 into the automatic sorting line 20 or the manual sorting line 18.
