PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily transport a hoisted load even in the construction field limited in a lot of conditions when transporting the hoisted load from the ground into an underground pit, in regard to a suspension device suspended from a transporting device to support the hoisted load. SOLUTION: This suspension device 1 is provided with a tilting control device 4 for suspending a steel material S1 while tilting the steel material S1 at a desirable angle against the horizontal, and a rotation control device 3 connected to the tilting control device 4 to rotate the steel material S1 at the desirable angle by rotating the tilting control device 4 at the desirable angle around the vertical axis.
