<p>An air conditioner includes an outdoor device connected to a plurality of indoor devices. A stable frequency control of a compressor is performed. The outdoor device has the compressor. Each of the indoor device can be switched between thermo ON/OFF independently. The air conditioner further includes total capability value acquisition means (62), modification amount decision means (63), and frequency modification means (64). The total capability value acquisition means (62) acquires a total capability value of the indoor devices which are in the thermo ON state. The modification amount decision means (63) decides the modification amount of frequency of the compressor according to the total capability value. Frequency modification means (64) modifies frequency of the compressor for each modification amount decided by the modification amount decision means.</p>
