The system has a component (2) attached at an outer end of an aerofoil of an aircraft and comprising a fixed unit and two swiveling aerofoil units (7, 8) that are arranged downstream of the fixed unit and hinged relative to one another in a flight direction. The aerofoil units are periodically swivelable between end positions for interference of a rolling procedure of the air in an area of an outer aerofoil in the flight direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for reducing of wake of an aircraft.
