An actuator (10) for optical scanning, wherein light outgoing from a light source (18) is radiated to an optical element fitted to a leaf spring member (13) having a base end fixed thereto and a tip swung by an electromagnetic driving means and refracted or reflected by the optical element to scan the light. The light source (18) is mounted on the leaf spring member (13). The optical element used is a lens (19) fitted to the tip of the leaf spring member perpendicularly to the outgoing direction of the light outgoing from the light source and refracting the light outgoing from the light source or a reflector fitted to the tip of the leaf spring member diagonally relative to the outgoing direction of the light outgoing from the light source and reflecting the light outgoing from the light source.
