PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower bodywork of a vehicle capable of compatibly establishing a compact body with low overall height and enhancement of the dwellability of occupants and the rigidity of the body, and in particular of reinforcing a child seat to ensure the safety of a child seat occupant. SOLUTION: The lower bodywork of the vehicle is furnished with a kickup part which is staged up to behind the floor panel forming the undersurface of a cabin, wherein the kickup part is composed of a first kickup part and a second kickup part provided in line with the first kickup part in the vehicle width direction and having a larger height in the height direction, and over the second pickup part the child seat 64 is arranged, and a reinforcing member 77 is installed extending across the vehicle width along the child seat 64.
