PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a TDMA communication apparatus for transmitting a DSC response command by preventing duplication with AIS. SOLUTION: A CPU1 calculates DSC transmission duration Tdsc of a DSC response command (S11), to detect current time t0 (S12). The CPU1 calculates AIS transmission standby period Taistx, and compares it to the DSC transmission duration Tdsc (S13 to S14). Then, the CPU1, if the DSC transmission duration Tdsc is shorter, calculates AIS reception standby period Taisrx, and compares it to the DSC transmission duration Tdsc (S15 to S16).
