The device has a telescope (10) including a cylinder (18), at whose opposite ends an eyepiece and an objective lens are installed. An illuminator moves between insertion and extended positions such that the illuminator moves in and out of the telescope. The illuminator is designed as a flash light and includes a cylinder, which is pivotably mounted at the cylinder of the telescope and behind the eyepiece and the objective lens.
