<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starting control device and its method for a diesel power generation facility capable of minimizing the voltage drop or the reduction in the rotational speed when starting a large-sized auxiliary machine. <P>SOLUTION: The starting control device for a diesel power generation facility comprises; providing a starting command of set voltage operation and set rotational speed operation respectively with respect to the power generator and a diesel engine at the black-out start of the diesel power generation facility 10; issuing a preliminary command for an auxiliary machine start during the set voltage operation and the set rotational speed operation of the power generator and the diesel engine; inputting start characteristic data with respect to the auxiliary machine connected to the power generator; creating a correction signal for a generator excitation amount for operating the generator by increasing the voltage of the generator corresponding to the input starting characteristic data; and providing the correction signal for the generator excitation amount with the excitation device prior to the start of the auxiliary machine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
