PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a program for obtaining a multi-viewpoint image without distortion using a camera without lens shift. SOLUTION: This method for obtaining the multi-viewpoint image has steps of: separating a plurality of viewpoints provided separately at the same interval in the direction perpendicular to a single reference projection surface including a noticing point to be a reference in a first direction in parallel with a reference projection surface at fixed intervals; providing a plurality of individual noticing points each of which is different from the reference noticing point and serves as a foot of perpendicular of the plurality of viewpoints on projection surfaces which are planes including the reference projection surface corresponding to each viewpoint; uniforming the shapes and area of individual projection surfaces which are areas on the projection surface of the image to be acquired from the plurality of viewpoints, determining the shape and the size of the individual projection surface so that the reference projection surface is included in an area where the individual projection surfaces to be acquired from two viewpoints located at the end of the plurality of viewpoints are overlapped and segmenting only an area of the reference projection surface from the individual projection surfaces acquired from each viewpoint to be used as a multi-viewpoint image for displaying a three-dimensional image.
