PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a clip from falling off a ruler body by ensuring the mounting of the clip. SOLUTION: The ruler equipped with a clip comprises the ruler body 1, made of narrow plate-like metal having a predetermined length, is provided with a through hole 5 near its one end 1a, and of which the surface 1b is provided with a scale and the clip 2 which is made of metal, is provided with a tubular engagement part 7, engaged with the through hole 5 of the ruler body 1 so that it protrudes from the back near its one end 2a, and of which the tip part 2c is brought into elastic contact with a part spaced apart from the one end 1a of the ruler body 1 by a predetermined distance. The clip 2 is mounted to the ruler body 1, with the tip of the engagement part 7 being engaged with the through hole 5 of the ruler body 1 flattened. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
