PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sizing agent with which a strand used for a weft yarn having sufficient and stable running property can be obtained, and further a glass cloth woven by using the strand and having extremely reduced fluffs, or the like can be obtained, and which imparts excellent oil releasibility to the glass cloth; and a glass fiber produced by sticking the same. SOLUTION: The sizing agent for glass fibers contains one or more kinds selected from polycondensates of (A) a polyalkylenepolyamine, (B) an 8-24C aliphatic carboxylic acid having saturated or unsaturated straight or branched chain and (C) a dibasic carboxylic acid, and salts of the polycondensates.
