PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flux cored wire for gas shielded arc welding, a flux cored wire that brings further improvement in high temperature crack resistance and that has superior welding workability including slag detachability and metal sagging resistance as well as superior impact toughness of a weld metal. SOLUTION: The flux cored wire is characterized in that it contains by mass% to the total mass of the wire with the flux filled in a steel skin, 5.1-6.5% TiO<SB>2</SB>, 0.3-0.7% SiO<SB>2</SB>, 0.1-0.4% ZrO<SB>2</SB>, 0.01-0.04% CaO, 0.05-0.20% total of Na<SB>2</SB>O and K<SB>2</SB>O, 0.02-0.15% F, 0.06-0.12% C, 0.3-0.6% Si, 1.8-2.4% Mn, provided that≥3.6 Mn/Si, 0.1-0.6% Al, and 0.1-0.4% Mg on the condition that 0.4-0.8% Al+Mg, and in that it further contains≤0.015% P,≤0.010% S,≤0.002% B,≤0.002% Bi, and the balance Fe composed primarily of the steel skin and the flux.
