<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the increase of received electric energy economically and favorably. <P>SOLUTION: An engine-driven heat pump device provided with a power generating function is installed on the rooftop of a building, and a compressor is driven to perform air conditioning, and also the power generated by a generator is supplied to a power load within the building.
