PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilt sensor capable of detecting accurately the tilt state by moving smoothly a moving body in a guide passage, concerning a tilt sensor capable of detecting tilt or fall by arranging the moving body in the guide passage formed in a container constituting the tilt sensor, and by moving the moving body along the guide passage by the tilt. SOLUTION: This tilt sensor is equipped with the container 1 storing liquid, the guide passage 2 formed in the container, the moving body 4 movable in the guide passage, and a detection sensor for detecting the moving body. In the tilt sensor, a groove 6 is formed on a container wall along the guide passage 2, and a liquid passage (groove) is formed between the container wall and the moving body by the groove, to thereby prevent adhesion between the moving body and the container wall. In the tilt sensor storing the moving body and gas, the thickness of a gas storage part is adjusted to be thicker than the thickness of a moving body storage part, to thereby prevent sticking phenomenon of gas onto the container wall.
