A method and an apparatus for implementing a web-based remote diagnosis are provided to prevent a repeated medical examination and to perform an efficient treatment by systemically managing medical information to include previous medical information. A method for implementing a web-based remote diagnosis includes the steps of: receiving user identification information from a user terminal(S206); receiving information, which selects medical image data and a remote examiner to be an object of a remote diagnosis, from the user terminal(S208); transmitting the selected medical image data to the terminal of the selected remote examiner(S210); and receiving the diagnosis result for the selected medical image data from the terminal of the remote examiner, and transmitting the received diagnosis result to the user terminal.
