摘要 A method and a system for estimating motion from continuous images are provided to reduce the speckle noise by performing inverse wavelet transformation of the continuous images, and promptly form ultrasonic images by reducing the area for estimation of motion between the continuous images. A first image and a second image, which are continuous among plural images, are filtered and reduced to acquire a first sub-image and a second sub-image of a first level. A feature pixel is selected among respective pixels constituting the first sub-image(S140). An image block, which consists of the feature pixel and pixels around the feature pixel, is selected in the first sub-image(S150). A reference area, which is the most similar to the image block, is selected in the second sub-image(S160). A displacement parameter between the image block and the reference area is computed(S170). The computed displacement parameter is stored(S180). If the first and second sub-images have levels higher than a second level, the first and second sub-images are inversely transformed(S200). The above selecting process and computing process of displacement parameter are performed with respect to the first and second sub-images. A motion is estimated based on the stored displacement parameter.
