A moving image photographing and recording apparatus is provided to conveniently photograph a moving image and then directly store the moving image in a moving image file format without converting the photographed moving image into the moving image file. A moving image photographing and recording apparatus comprises a camera(10), a monitor(20), and a body(30). The camera(10) photographs a moving image. The monitor(20) displays the photographed image. The body(30) controls the camera and the monitor, inputs and outputs image and sound signals, and records the inputted image and sound signals. A plurality of operation buttons(37) is provided on the body, and controls the operation state of the apparatus. A money drop(31) is provided on the body.
