The present invention provides a kit for detecting and quantifying the CYP3A4 gene of the human cytochrome P450 molecular species, comprising a set of a primer pair of a forward primer comprising an oligonucleotide which hybridizes with the 825-854 region of the CYP3A4 gene and a reverse primer comprising an oligonucleotide which hybridizes with the 973-948 region of the CYP3A4 gene, and a probe comprising an oligonucleotide which hybridizes with the 946-918 region of the CYP3A4 gene, and a method of detecting and quantifying said human cytochrome P 450 molecular species using the kit.
