摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a navigation apparatus by which an optimum final guide point can be set by a method wherein position information which is used to input a destination and a passage point is learned and stored on the basis of a running result and the guide point of the destination and that of the passage point are set on the basis of the position information. SOLUTION: A central processor 4 is started by a CPU 40, a present-position detecting device 2 detects a present position, and a peripheral map around the present position and the name of the present position are displayed by an input device 1. Then, a destination and a passage point are set by using an address, an institution name and the like, and a route up to the destination from the present position is searched. When the route to be searched is decided, the tracking of the present position and the guidance of the route are repeated unitll the destination is searched. After the destination is reached, a final guide points is learned so as to be set once, and the destination whose route is searched and the guide point of an institution in the passage point are learned. Then, when the institution or the like is selected again as a destination, whether a final corresponding guide point is learned or not is investigated. When it is learned, the position is set as a final guide point on the basis of a learned result, and the route is searched.
