A flame retardant fabric and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to remove an additional coating solution applying process by adding a flame retardant yarn including a low melting point polyester bonding yarn, thereby reducing installation cost and scale of a process line. First and second flame retardant yarns mixed with a synthetic resin and a flame retardant are prepared, and a third flame retardant yarn having low melt polymers applied to an outer surface of a yarn mixed with a synthetic resin and a flame retardant is prepared(S100). The first, second and third yarns are woven to form a flame retardant fabric(S200). The flame retardant fabric is heated at a predetermined temperature for melting the low-melt polymers included in the third yarn and coating the other side of the fabric with the low-melt polymers(S400). |
