FIELD: technologies for protecting goods from forgery, possible use by manufacturers for protecting goods manufactured by them, and also for protecting consumers from purchasing products, manufactured by illegal manufacturers. ^ SUBSTANCE: authenticity of product is determined by comparing digitized identifier image provided on the product, made in form of volumetric physical body, which contains randomly distributed optically visible elements, with digitized image of identifier positioned in electronic database. ^ EFFECT: increased trustworthiness of results of comparison procedure, decreased amount, increased simplicity and comfort of procedures, performed by manufacturer; possibly decreased time needed to determine authenticity of product due to automation of comparison procedure. ^ 21 cl, 2 dwg |
