A VDSL(Very high speed Digital Subscriber Line) modem is provided to supply a VDSL Internet service using the Ethernet to plural subscribers by using one VDSL, thus a cost required for installation is reduced so that the VDSL can be commercialized at low price. A VDSL interface(401) provides a connection function with a DSLAM(Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer) device, receives a VDSL signal provided from the DSLAM device to convert the received signal into an Ethernet frame, or performs an inversed operation to send a VDSL transmission signal to the DSLAM device. A QoS(Quality of Service) processor(403) receives the Ethernet frame to process the frame according to QoS policies by service grade, sends the processed frame to an Ethernet interface(402), and receives an Ethernet frame from the Ethernet interface(402) to process the received frame according to QoS policies by service grade, then sends the processed frame to the VDSL interface(401). The Ethernet interface(402) checks the destination of the Ethernet frame to switch the frame to a path of the destination, converts the switched data frame into an Ethernet signal to output the signal to a subscriber terminal device, or checks the destination of an input signal of the subscriber terminal device to switch the signal to a path of the destination, then sends the Ethernet frame.
