PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer film which has high sensitivity and superior workability and by which a barrier rib of a PDP and a dielectric layer having excellent dimensional accuracy can be preferably formed, and to provide a method for manufacturing the PDP using it. SOLUTION: In the transfer film and the method for manufacturing the PDP using it, a radiation-sensitive film-forming material layer containing glass powder and organic components is provided on a support film, and the linear transmittance (Tp) is 0.01-10% and the diffuse transmittance (Td) is 1-50% at a wave length of 405 nm in the film forming material layer.
