<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase changing type optical recording medium which is a recording medium of high density and large capacity as well as DVD-ROM, can overwrite information in a broad range of 3.5-35 m/s and at a high recording linear speed, secures a sufficient modulation degree in a regenerative signal and is excellent in recording sensibility, repetitive characteristics and retention reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The phase changing type optical recording medium is featured by constituting the phase changing recording material from In, Sb, F and Bi in the phase changing type optical recording medium by carrying out recording, reading out, erasing and rewriting the information by providing a recording layer comprising at least a phase changing recording material as a constitutional layer on a substrate to cause a reversible change by irradiating the recording layer with an electromagnestic wave. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
