PIXEL INTERPOLATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND PIXEL INTERPOLATION PROCESSING PROGRAM AT REDUCTION AND VARIABLE MAGNIFICATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pixel interpolation processing apparatus capable of suppressing color slippage among configuration colors from being extended in the case of reducing and variable magnifying an image and to provide a pixel interpolation processing program for allowing a computer to execute the pixel interpolation processing.

SOLUTION: The pixel interpolation processing apparatus includes: a reference color interpolation means 22 for carrying out interpolation processing of pixels of a plurality of lines in the case of selecting one of the configuration colors of the image as a reference color and reducing the lines in the subscanning direction of a plane of the reference color into one line; and subordinate color interpolation means 23, 24 for carrying out the interpolation processing of pixels of the lines in the subscanning direction in planes of subordinate colors other than the reference color by referencing the interpolation pixel position of the reference color subjected to interpolation processing.
