PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current-detecting circuit for accurately detecting a current on the order from tens of to hundreds of microamperes.
SOLUTION: The current-detecting circuit includes a current-amplifying stage for inputting and amplifying a detected current, and a comparator having a first input for inputting the amplified detected current. The amplification stage includes a first transistor connected between first and second rails. The detected current is inputted to a source of the first transistor. The amplified detected current is outputted from the drain of the first transistor. The gate of the first transistor impressed with a bias. The circuit can detect an analog signal of 100μA or smaller and output a rail-to-rail digital signal.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
|
