<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker preventing a temperature protection system of a display means of the heating cooker from addition of heat exceeding a heat resistant temperature on the display means. <P>SOLUTION: The heating cooker has a top plate 2 arranged on a top face, a loading part on which an object to be heated is loaded, a heating means 37, a display means 40 displaying information such as heating output of the heating means 37 by a light emitting element, an operation part 39, a control part 42, and a temperature detection means 41 detecting the temperature of the display means 40 or neighborhood thereof.
