PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage charging device capable of charging disposal object matter such as garbage or the like dehydrated by solid-liquid separation into a disposer. SOLUTION: A garbage charging device 3 comprises a bottom lid 22 attached to the lower end opening 21b of an charging cylinder 21, through which garbage is thrown, such that it is freely openable or closable. The lower end opening 21b comprises a large-diameter opening 21c having a sealing surface 21d larger in diameter than the inner peripheral surface of the charging cylinder 21 to prevent the former from being exposed to the latter. The bottom lid 22 comprises a sealing member 30 to be pressed onto the sealing surface of the large-diameter opening 21c and a scraper 31 which contacts the sealing surface 21d when the bottom lid 22 is opened or closed. When the bottom lid 22 is closed, the sealing member 30 is pressed onto the sealing surface 21d to provide sealing, when the bottom lid is opened or closed, the scraper 31 rubs the sealing surface 21d to prevent the adhesion of the disposal object matter.
