PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cool defrosting phenomenon while ensuring smooth an air flow inside an air conditioning case, preventing an increase in ventilation resistance at an air mix chamber and on the downstream side of the chamber, restraining noise, preventing an air conditioning case structure from becoming complex, and preventing an increase in the number of parts, in this air conditioning unit for a vehicle in which the air flow inside the air conditioning case is reverse. SOLUTION: The inclination angle of a heat exchanger 5 for cooling is made roughly equal to the inclination angle of a heat exchanger 6 for heating, a wall surface 8a facing a downstream side surface of the heat exchanger 5 for cooling of the air conditioning case 8 and a wall surface 8b facing a downstream side surface of the heat exchanger 6 for heating are roughly mated with the downstream side surfaces of the heat exchanger 5 for cooling and the heat exchanger 6 for heating respectively. The angle R of a wall surface 8c continuous to the air mix chamber 11 from the wall surface 8b, which is bent toward the air mix chamber, is set at 50 degrees or more and at 80 degrees or less.
