SMART CONTAINER GATEWAY

A shipping container 100, for tranporting cargo, contains two or more doors 110, wherein at least one of the doors 110 contains a gateway 10. The gateway 10 is preferable mounted to the inside of door 110, such that when the door 110 I closed the presence of the gateway 10 is not readily noticeable from the exterior of the container 100. The gateway 10 receives and transmits electromagnetic energy through an electromagnetic aperture, pertaining to the cargo, and further includes electronics module 20, antenna 30, WAN transceivers 40, power harvesting modules 50, and baterries 60.
