PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair shampoo giving excellent feeling in shampooing of hair damaged by hair color, etc., and having excellent effect to restore the hair tip curled or waved by the accumulation of damage to the original straight state. SOLUTION: The hair shampoo contains (A) a toluenesulfonic acid or its salt, (B) one or more organic solvents selected from benzyl alcohol, benzyloxyethanol, a polypropylene glycol having a molecular weight of 200-5,000 andγ-caprolactone, (C) a surfactant and (D) a cationic polymer and has a pH value of≥2 and <6.
