EQUIPMENT ARRANGEMENT STRUCTURE IN CONTAINER YARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment arrangement structure in a container yard capable of securing space efficiency of the container yard and restricting interference between a yard crane and an in-yard chassis as much as possible when introducing an automatic operation system to an existing container terminal. SOLUTION: A route via a quay for transporting containers 5 between a container ship 2 and a container yard 6 is arranged inside a route via a delivery area for transporting the container for delivery/reception of the containers 5 to/from visitor chassis 7b. A right angle travelling lane 61 for the yard crane 8 is arranged outside these routes. An end of of a cargo lane 26 for loading the containers 5 between the container ship 2 is provided with a switch back area 37 for exchanging the front and the rear of the in-yard chassis 7a. Considering an inner wheel difference when turning the in-yard chassis 7a, a non-housing part 5b is arranged in a part facing to a turning part so that a lead-in lane 27 and a lead-out lane 28 are arranged as close to a container block 5a as possible.
