<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe instrumentation system and a plant control method for effectively inhibiting processing for maintenance of safety to a necessary extent while eliminating any mechanical switch. <P>SOLUTION: A detection means 101 detects the abnormality of a plant. An execution means 102 executes predetermined processing for maintenance of safety when the abnormality of the plant is detected by the detection means 101. An inhibition means 103 inhibits the execution of processing by the execution means 102 according to a predetermined request. An acceptance means 104 accepts the above mentioned request to be performed through a man/machine interface for monitoring the plant. The acceptance means 104 is provided with an authentication means 105 for executing user authentication through the man/machine interface when accepting the predetermined request, and the acceptance means 104 accepts the above mentioned predetermined request only when authentication has been normally performed by the authentication means 105. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
