PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method where, in an electrotinning method using an insoluble electrode, the formation of tin sludge simultaneously generated upon oxygen blowing can be reduced. SOLUTION: In a plating liquid circulation line between a metal tin melting tank and a plating liquid circulation tank, when the flow rate Fa of a plating liquid fed to the plating liquid circulation tank is controlled, regarding the flow rate Fb from the plating liquid circulation tank to the metal tin melting tank, the flow rate Fc in the metal tin melting tank and the flow rate Fd of the self-circulation in the metal tin melting tank, Fb=Fa, and Fc=Fa+Fd are satisfied.
