PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always maintain a dry touch by guiding a very small quantity of blood or sweat or the like remaining on the surface of a mesh sheet without being absorbed in a hydrophilic fiber sheet to the absorber side. SOLUTION: In this absorbent article 1, an absorber 4 is interposed between a porous plastic surface sheet 3 and a liquid impermeable back sheet 2, and the hydrophilic fiber sheet 6 is interposed on the lower side of the porous plastic surface sheet 3. Fibers of the hydrophilic fiber sheet 6 are extended from the holes 7, 7 of the porous plastic surface sheet 3 to reach the upper side of an unperforated sheet of the porous plastic surface sheet 3. In this case, the fibers of the hydrophilic fiber sheet 6 are extended from the holes 7, 7 so that the fibers from the holes 7, 7 of the porous plastic surface sheet 3 are 1 to 60% of the unperforated sheet of the surface sheet 3.
