<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system not only reducing labor following business settlement procedures of a person that has been on a business trip, but also suppressing improper settlement such as double settlement while reducing a possibility of leakage of data information to a third party. <P>SOLUTION: In the business trip expense settlement support system 100, various types of information data necessary for business trip expense settlement are acquired from an automatic ticket gate system 103 of transportation, and a lodging expense settlement system 104 of a lodging facility via a portable terminal 102 of the person that has been on a business trip, and the data is outputted as business trip expense settlement data to be input data of a business trip expense settlement system 101. Exchange of information data by a transmission technique based upon a non-contact IC card is carried out between the automatic ticket gate system 103 of transportation, the lodging expense settlement system 104 of the lodging facility, and the portable terminal 102.
