<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron emission device and an electron emission display device capable of restraining signal delay by lowering capacitance of a parasitic capacitor. <P>SOLUTION: The electron emission device and the electron emission display device comprise an electron emission part 12 formed on a substrate, at least one driving electrode 10 controlling electron emission of the electron emission part, and a converging electrode 18 electrically insulated from at least one driving electrode 10. At least either one of the driving electrode comprises an effective part 101 practically participated in electron emission of the electron emission part and a first voltage impression part 102 electrically connected to the effective part, and the converging electrode comprises a converging part 181 converging electron emitted from the electron emission part and a second voltage impression part 182 electrically connected to the converging part.
