PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle controller which can operate without wiring or rail. SOLUTION: This electric vehicle controller is equipped with an autonomous power source which generates power, a step-up/step-down chopper which is connected with the above autonomous power source and controls the output of the above autonomous power source, an inverter which is connected with the above step-up/step-down chopper and converts the power supplied from the above step-up/step-down chopper, a main motor which is driven with the power supplied from the above inverter, an anergy accumulator which can store power in case that the above main motor 6 performs regenerative operation, a travel path detector which is provided in each vehicle and detects the position of a travel path guide provided on a road, and a controlling device which controls a vehicle mounting its own machine so that the position of the travel guide path detected by the above travel path detector may be settled in a specified value.
