PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gelled composition which is excellent in the dispersibility of carbon nanotubes and in the adaptability to environment and which can be obtained with a comparatively inexpensive price and to provide its simple manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The gelled composition contains the carbon nanotubes and a neutral salt type ion liquid obtained by the neutralization reaction of an acid and a base. When benzoic acid or its derivative is particularly used as the acid composing the neutral salt type ion liquid, the gelled composition excellent in the dispersibility of the carbon nanotubes is obtained.
