PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple-structured magnetizer which more narrows the neutral zone than the conventional one and reduces the running cost, etc. SOLUTION: A part or the entire of a magnetizing yoke is replaced with a permanent magnet so that magnetization with both the magnetic fields generated from a coil and the permanent magnet becomes possible. This allows the generated magnetic field from the magnetizing coil, i.e., the applied current to the magnetizing coil to be reduced by the magnetic field from the permanent magnet, if they have magnetizing magnetic fields of the same strength, and hence a magnetizing coil having a smaller wire diameter is used, thereby narrowing the neutral zone.
