PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shut a flow of ink in each ink jet module separately in an ink jet printing head which includes a plurality of the ink jet modules. SOLUTION: The ink jet printing head 2 comprises an ink feeder 20, and the first ink jet module 54 and second ink jet module 154 connected to the ink feeder 20. The ink feeder 20 comprises a first shutoff device which selectively shuts the flow of ink to the first ink jet module 54, and a second shutoff device which selectively shuts the flow of ink to the second ink jet module 154.
