PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor any abnormality in a voltage sensor in a load drive circuit. SOLUTION: An ECU executes a program including a step in which, when a deviation between a VB sensor and a VL sensor during boosting is equal to or larger than a threshold value (1) (YES at S110) and a voltage value VL is lower than a threshold value (2) (YES at S120) or a voltage value VL is not lower than the threshold value (2) (NO at S120) but a voltage value VH does not agree with a boosting command value (YES at S150), it is determined that the VL sensor is abnormal (S160); and a step in which, when a voltage value VH agrees with the boosting command value (NO at S150), boosting control is stopped by feed forward control using only the voltage value VH (S170), and when the voltage value VH becomes substantially equal to a voltage value VB (YES at S180), the abnormality sensor is identified based on the combination of the deviations between two voltage values of the voltage values VB, VL, and VH detected by three sensors (S200, S210, and S230).
