METHOD FOR PACKAGING OF BROADCAST CONTENT

A method of packaging broadcasting contents is provided to control broadcasting contents transmitted through a broadcasting receiver such that the broadcasting contents are not illegally copied to protect the broadcasting contents. A copy control bit that indicates whether inputted broadcasting contents are encoded and stored is extracted(S300), and it is determined whether the broadcasting contents are encoded and stored based on the copy control bit(S310). When it is determined that the broadcasting contents are encoded and stored, regulation information including an encoding method for the broadcasting contents is generated(S320). The copy control bit is extracted from each of newly inputted broadcasting contents(S330), and broadcasting contents including a copy control bit that indicates that the broadcasting contents are stored without being encoded are detected(S340). The broadcasting contents are encoded by the encoding method, and the encoded broadcasting contents and the regulation information are packaged and stored(S360).
