An automatic channel restoring method in a digital TV is provided to store channel information set when an automatic channel is set in a back-up memory and load the channel information stored in the back-up memory when a channel set by a automatic channel setting method is erased to restore the previously set automatic channel. Information about a channel set in an automatic channel setting process of a digital TV is stored in a back-up memory(S130). The information stored in the back-up memory is loaded and restored according to an automatic channel restoration command(S150,S160). The automatic channel restoration command is manually inputted through a function key included in the digital TV or a remote controller or automatically inputted by determining whether a channel which is automatically set through the information stored in the back-up memory is damaged when the digital TV is turned on.
