A locking apparatus for furniture is provided to enhance user's convenience and safety by enabling a user to lock up the furniture with doors, which are opened in opposite directions, with a single locking unit. A locking apparatus for furniture includes a main body(10), a key assembly(20), and horizontal and vertical keys(30,40). The main body includes a horizontal rail and a vertical rail crossing the horizontal rail. The horizontal and vertical rails are apart from each other. The key assembly includes a pinion(22), which is fixed on the main body and rotated when a key is rotated. The horizontal and vertical keys are inserted into the respective rails and protruded from or retracted into the main body via racks(31,41), which are coupled with the pinion. The horizontal and vertical keys are held by a door catch to fix a door of the furniture.
